Damaraland Lodge was consecration on the 1st of March 1926 in Windhoek, drawing its members from the English, Scottish, Irish and Netherlandic Constitutions Freemasons then present in Windhoek. The consecration of the Lodge took place in the German Primary School Hall with its regular meetings taking place in the St. Georges Anglican Cathedral Hall in Conradie Street. After the consecration of the Lodge a great effort was made by the Lodge to get the German Freemasons, still in Windhoek, to become members of the Lodge. This bond between English and German Freemasons still exists today a hundred years later. Also detailed in the book is the hand grenade attack on Freemasons Hall on the night of 26th of June 1979, which resulted in the death of one person and the wounding of several others. A large section towards the end of the book has many colour photographs dealing with summons, jewels, hymn cards, letter heads and various items used by Damaraland Lodge.
