Description Developed for special truing machines, the nipple is able to be trued using either an internal or external spoke wrench. Nipples are available in 16 and 18mm. (16mm similar to standard 12mm and 18mm similar to standard 14mm) NOTE: There are now two versions available of our double square polyax nipples. We have been informed that certain carbon rims will require the classic nipples. There is a slight difference in the shape of the “bowl”.
